Is there a limit? I am making a family tree for a work of fiction, and it is pretty expansive. Is there a limit, and if so are there any workarounds?

There probably is but it seems to be generously high.  I have 400+ members across 15 generations on my tree with no problems.

I have a family tree of 1,562 members spanning over 15 generations. I believe this may answer your question.

I am kind of crazy and have 5 different trees with over a thousand people with my largest one having 22,902 people and counting (I mapped every single royal family in Europe). I've never had any problems so you can go nuts
