How are you getting multiple branches spanning multiple ancestors onto the same Tree?

I keep finding once I'm a couple of branches over from the main/direct branch it stops giving me the option to add more multiple generations on additional branches going back up through the previous generations, and instead I'm prompted to start a new tree

I am having the same issue, I believe this is a fairly recent change, and I personally am very upset about it. I would reccomend reaching out through the contact form. I hope that with enough feedback from their user base (primarily made of people doing in depth and/or fictional trees) that they will reverse this decision. Their faqs say that this is for privacy reasons, but again, when most of the trees are fictional- this should not be a big enough issue to take away one of their best features- being limitless.
