can I show the birthplaces of all people on a map?

If you have birthplace information that Google can map to a location, you could do this by exporting your family tree as a CSV file. Open it in a spreadsheet and parse the Birthplace (or Address) into the component postal address pieces. Then use any of the many services that will turn location data into a map. Here's one tutorial on how do do that with Google Maps.
