How to create a copy of the family tree with the photos?

We have accidentally shared a link which gives others editing rights (instead of viewing) and we would like to create a copy of the tree as a backup. However, the export/import formats are only in text form, which means that the pictures would not be in the copy. Is there a solution to this?

You can export the family tree as a Dynamic HTML file. This will allow you to view your tree with the photos, but not to edit it. To continue working on a different copy of the tree you would have to export it and import it again. If you do download as a Dynamic HTML file, you should at least have all the photos together in the same place to upload again.

Hi,

Thank you.
Now that I have exported the tree and photos as a Dynamic HTML file, how do I import it again so that I can continue working on a different copy of the tree? The import formats are GEDCOM or FamilyScript.
Sorry for not being clearer. You are right, to export and import again, you have to used FamilyScript or GEDCOM. The Dynamic HTML folder you now have on your computer should help you to upload all the photos from the same place. And also act as a local backup for you to view.
Thanks for your prompt reply. Is there a way to bulk upload all the photos or do I have to add them one by one?
I'm afraid you still have to add them individually.
Alright, thanks for your help on this! Have a good day.
