You can export your GEDCOM file and import it as a new family (search the forum for how to do that). Once you import into a new tree, you can delete the people that you don't want in that version.

There are other tools that let you manipulate GEDCOM files in various ways (including splitting them). If you search the internet for "How do I split GEDCOM files" you'll get a lot of results.
