Click on the person you want to add a photo to and then click the "Add Photo for <name>" button on the left at the top of the editing area. later, you can change or remove a photo by clicking on the current photo.
Here are some notes about photos:

Photos are not exported or imported by Family Echo.

You can only have one photo per person.

One work around to the one photo per person limit is to put a link to an online folder or album that contains photos of that person.
