Is there a way to show everyone I've put on the tree?

I'm doing this for my sixth-grade project and I need to show everyone because we're printing it and going to put it on a tri-fold.

My family is very complicated, almost everyone has been remarried on the Finnish side and both my Mar-Far (grandfather) and Mar-Mar (Grandmother) were married thrice before they got married. And I must put my step brother, his mum, her husband, their son, and my stepdad and parents for the three of them.

Generally speaking, you can display all of the ancestors and descendents of any one person in the tree. You can often display everyone in a relalitvely simple tree by clicking on the "correct" person.

Additionally, there are some options that you can set that determine how "far" from the clicked person people will be displayed. To set this, click "Show options" at the bottom of the screen and set Parents, Children, and Others to their max values.

It's great that you're working on a project about your family history! If I understand correctly, you're trying to represent your family tree, but it's complicated because of multiple marriages and blended families. Here are a few suggestions that might help:

  • Start by making a list of all the people you want to include, along with their relationships to each other. This will help you organize your thoughts and make sure you don't forget anyone.

  • Consider using a family tree template or software to help you visualize your family tree. There are many free templates available online that you can use, or you can try using a genealogy software like Ancestry or FamilySearch.
