Can you link two trees?

My tree has my children and husband and all  ancestors.  Do I have to make a new tree for my husband's relatives as they are not related to me?  If so can I link these trees?

No, you do not have to make a new tree for your husband's relatives. You can add his parents and expand from there, just like you did your own.
