my dad was adopted, but he was raised by my grandmother(the one who adopted him) and her friend.

her freind was always just called an aunt even though she isnt actually related to us. so how would/should i put her in this family tree?

Family trees are typically for tracking the biological and legal relationships within a family, so there really isn't a way to show an adoptive parent's friend who was like a parent. You could add her as an additional partner of your grandmother with the type "relationship". But I think that's about as close as you can get.
