Near the top of my tree I have listed a woman as a daughter when in fact she was a daughter-in-law.

I tried to delete her and it says I will split the tree. So I tried to delete her father-in law and it is telling me the same thing. There is no one above them, so I don't understand why it would split the tree. Thanks

It is descendents that are the problem when you get a "split the tree" message. You can probably fix this by making her the wife of the correct person and then removing her as the daughter of that person's father.
