This isn't a feature that's available in Family Echo. But you could get this information by:

  1. downloading the GEDCOM file for your family tree,
  2. open it in a text editor,
  3. search for "1 DEAT Y"
  4. The number of times that string is found is the number of dead people in your family tree.
  5. You can subtract that from the size of your family tree to find the living members.
