Is there a way to merge family trees?

Hi! I know a long time ago when I asked this question it wasn't possible to merge family trees except if you did it manually.

I was wondering if it's possible now, since so many beautiful updated features have been added?

Because to make a long story short, I realised 2 very large family trees I have overlap, so I would love to have them in one file, but doing that manually with every. single. person. would take many, many hours.

Thank you for your time!

Sadly, no. You still have to do it manually although if you don't want to use FamilyScript files and merge them that way you can go to another geneaology software/website which does allow merging family trees (such as Geni). Although most of them do use real family trees so if you have fictional trees I wouldn't recommend it.
