How can I merge that info on one tree instead of creating a duplicate?

Short answer: Not possible. There's no merge function.

Long answer: export trees as GEDCOM, merge trees using a dedicated software, import GEDCOM tree and add pictures for all members. Members with no names will appear as "Anon" instead of "child of...", "mother of..." etc. Worth the effort? I think not.
