If you are seeing boxes marked 'Duplicate' they indicate that there are two different relationships between people and to make sure no lines on the family tree cross each other. There is still only one set of information stored for each individual.
Otherwise, if you have actually added people twice, please use 'Change or delete' in the left hand panel to remove them from your tree.
