i was not able to save my additions to my tree and now my whole tree is gone

The system appears to be down currently. I'm not sure if your changes will be intact, but hopefully you'll be able to recover everything from your last save when it is restored!

Rackspace Cloud, our hosting provider, was performing some critical maintenance on one of the servers holding family information, so it was down for a couple hours. (This is a separate server from the front end of the site.)

Our apologies - everything seems back to normal now.
