How do I hide the sidebar?

This is a question for you p.mcallister.  I know how to hide the sidebar using the option below the tree. But I was wondering, since my tree is really large and about to get longer, if it could be possible to hide the sidebar and then make it appear when you double click on someone you want information on. That would be great because I'd actually spend less time dragging the tree around the find the person I'm lookin for, especially if there are duplicates of that person.

Since there are no search options that I know of, maybe that could be a start?

Firstly, I'm flattered that you hold me in such high regard. I'm not the only person on this forum; I just check my account regularly!

To answer your question, I'm afraid there is currently no way to hide/show the sidebar apart from clicking on the option on the bottom menu. My advice would be to bring this to the attention of Family Echo, by putting this into a new question with the tag 'feature request'.
