general history on the timeline

Is there any way I could add just general history onto the timeline, such as wars that impacted the familys history and a death of a family friend, etc? I don't think we can, but if we really can't, this NEEDS to be an update

If you click the sidebar, then click biography, there will be an option to write the cause of death.
