If you are still looking for an answer, the possible error could be that you started the tree with another person. I don't know how to change it the easy way, but you may have to do the hard way and recreate the tree.
Edit #1: I found the easy way. You can go to yourself in your family tree. On the sidebar, there is an "Invite [name] to share family". Click on that and you can give it through email or use the link.
