Thank you.

I have succesfully backed up ie imported to another 'family tree' however this has not backed up the photographs which was a laborius task in the first place.

Do I need to go through the whole routine again as I have deleted the downloaded photographs I used, or is there an easier way to include the photographs during BACKUP & RESTORE?

I'm afraid there is not currently a way to import a family tree with photos assigned. This is definitely an issue when it comes to changing the founder of a family tree, and we will look into improving it.

The only tip I can suggest for exporting and re-importing a different version is that if you also export your tree as a Dynamic HTML folder you will at least have all the photos in one place ready to add back in.
