This created a duplicate which makes everything dumb and doesn't make sense. Anyone know how to hide duplicates?

Hi OP,

A duplicate in the family tree essentially means that an individual has multiple relations to the selected person.

For instance, If my mother's sister is also my dad's brother's wife, she will show up twice.

I'm assuming it's something similar in your case as well, with one person having atleast 2 relations with the person you've currently selected.

When you say you'd like to hide duplicates, what do you exactly mean? Taking my example from above, what would hiding duplicates even look like?

Curious to hear from you, hope my answer helped.

First off, thanks for answering my question, anudeepcvs! It really helps me understand Family Echo more. My proposal is that Familiality would have to make a special new type of line. Red-colored, perhaps? The thing is that I can create an infinite number of partners (I think), but I can't add wife relations. Another person on my tree married his cousin, but I didn't want to make things too sketchy. If you want to talk to me about Family Echo questions, just email rocketmoore8@gmail.com! Thanks for answering, most don't.
