Is there a limit to generations you put on the tree?

While there is no limit to the number of generations, there is a limit to the "horizontal relationship distance" on trees. People ocationally mention that on this forum. I have not run into that personally, and I have 5th cousins listed. Maybe someone who has run into that limitation could chime in on when it kicks in.
