Sorry if this is obvious, but I can't see why or how to resolve it. I am using this wonderful tool to build out fictional family trees for writing projects and I am currently trying to create a deity family tree, which is causing complications.
I have "duplicate" relationships that have appeared, and I think it's because I am trying to marry siblings and it doesn't know how to deal with multiple types of relationship between two people, so the duplicate here I presume highlights each relationship. This must be the case, especially as one has also appeared when one woman was the ex of a brother and the spouse of another. The lines of the tree could be drawn like this on paper, and I presume it just isn't built into the website, or am I wrong?
This isn't ideal, and I was wondering if there was a workaround for this. I have temporarily added more "parents" just to split up the tree, but it doesn't work 100%, nor is it accurate. It removes the duplicates but now it's all over the place.
I would also accept a way to create a tree without anchoring it to "me" or a relationship that links people without being siblings/causing duplicates. The first generation of gods are being treated as siblings here, but basically they just came into being at the same time. Removing that should stop the duplicate sibling-spouse relationship (also, eww) problem.
