I'm sorry for your loss. You could try to contact the developer via the Give Feedback link at the bottom of the screen. Include enough infomratino about your family tree to give him a chance to verify your information. I don't know what his policy is in cases like this.
Alternately, you could export the GEDCOM file (I think you can do that with read-only access, and import it into your account. Note that this will not export or import photos.
