Thanks for giveing such a good example of what you want to do.

  1. click on person Y
  2. click the "Add Partner/Ex" on the left
  3. click on "Partner with someone already in tree"
  4. pick person A's brother

Note that this will probably lead to a "duplicate" box in your family tree. This is not a problem. It is just Family Echo's way of designating that this person is related in multiple (duplicate) ways.

Hi
Thank you so much for your help, however I already have the married links as the cousins are already on the chart, I want to link the brother and sister whom they each married - can you help with that? The only thing I've seen where it mentions '..someone already on the tree' is when adding a partner
Many thanks
Amanda
If the brother and sister both have parents on the tree already, delete one of the sets of parents. If neither of them have parents on the tree, add parents for one of them. Then, from the other one: If you click on "Add secondary parents" (on the left), one of the options is "Choose parents from tree". I think that's what you need.
