i was adding photos to my tree and assumed that each photo will take up far more storage space than info on a person, so I was just wondering how much data trees can store>

I wouldn't think this would be a problem. Each image is reduced to about 12k, so a tree with 1,000 people, if you had an image for every person, would need 12MB of storage.
