Why do some family members show as duplicate? Have I done something wrong?

This usually happens when cousins marry (spouses have a common ancestor). It's a bug/feature of the F.E. website.  I've brought this up with F.E. through the Feedback link, but they don't seem to be in a hurry to fix it.
