How can I provide read only access to family without a right to make changes

On the tree, click on the person you want to give access to. Then on the left side of the window click on the "Invite _____ to share family."  Now make sure to unselect the "Allow _____ to edit family.  Copy the link at the bottom of the frame to send to your relative.  Then click "Done."
