I don't know about the original asker, but I'd like to know if the tree's are encrypted when stored and transmitted? They really should be. Frankly, all online data should be, especially when it includes personal information, and today it is pretty standard across most services, even if the company behind the service still has access. At least it keeps others out, if not everyone. Trust and promises are not a very effective means of data security.

All transmission between servers, and between our servers and end users, is encrypted.

I'm afraid I won't share any further information about the method of storage beyond what was written in the previous answer.
