Why do i have to make a new family tree for my person?

this is a new thing it wont let me add the parents of my partner it just says to add parents, siblings, and other family create a new family tree branch. I dont want to keep making a bunch of new family trees, please help!

To the makers of Family Echo: This is a new problem, please change it back to how it was!

OK, thanks, you should still be able to add anyone you want in that case, so this looks like a bug. For now please try switching your identity back to the original person, and that should hopefully solve the problem.
