Hello! To make the writing of a deceased person show up in black ink, you'll need to access "Options" on the bottom left side of you screen. This offers you multiple possibilities to customize your tree view (show or hide middle names, birth names, birth places etc., how many generations should be displayed when viewing the tree, date format etc.).
One of them being "Living text" and "Deceased text". You can choose the desired color for both, making the deceased black as well or choosiing another color for one or both entirely.
