In the details of a child, can the' Mother's name" reflect her Christian name, Maiden name, and then married name?

When they get married, most women drop their original middle name and go by (1) their original christian name, (2) their maiden name, and (3) their new married name.

Thus, when Mary Talbor Rose marries Donald Reed Pellew, she generally is know as Mary Rose Pellew  (not Mary Talbot Pellew, which is the way the program curresntly automatically shows).

Is it possible to alter the program so it picks up the mother's maiden name instead of her original middle name when providing details on her children?

No, you will just have to change her middle name manually using the [Edit ... details] button.
